Didn't intend to do 2 pictures of Jamie and Mike but since I did , you will get twice the enjoyment. These pictures are from the 5th of July, Saturday night. Eddy grilled and I baked and stirred. We had pork something, chicken and Eddy threw on some burgers since he was all set up. Everyone ate burgers! Who knew. I had SALAD! It's getting old being a vegan. Right now a cow in any form is looking good.Couldn't find all of my 4th decorations, probably gave them away. Well , so it's something to shop for when money is abundant.
Once the exceptional meal was completed, Jamie, mom, and I walked down to the spot in the back pasture where if they would have followed me through the creek, they could have seen the secret grotto. Change of plans as the other 2 did not want to get their shoes all yucky. So I led them through the chiggers to the secret pond. We have a lot of secrets in the Oliver household.....back up the hill, then, to watch the Salem fireworks from the front yard. Not a bad show. My favorite part is the boom as if the enemy troops are just over the rise.
