I so wanted to capture this double, complete circle, rainbow outside of my plane window. However, my camera was in my purse stashed on the floor of the plane and about enough room between my leg and the next seat to slide an envelope down! One other slight problem is the speed at which one is traveling up there. Nothing hangs around outside your window for long, so....in real life it was one of the coolest natural things I've ever encountered. Also, if you were there, you could have seen the shadow of the plane in the center of the inner rainbow. I have to stay home, save some money, and get a better camera! (oh, we were 10 minutes south of Chicago with the setting sun to our right)
