Several weeks ago we backed up to Jamie's rent house in Cherokee Village and loaded her stuff up and moved her to her new house. She had purchased this new house furnished and sold most of the stuff out of the rent house so the move wasn't so bad. Eddy has proclaimed through the years that "this is the last time that he's moving little sister!" Jamie's baby, Scrappy, sniffing out one last time the rain spout of the rent house. We took the puppies and gave them away at the yard sale. Broke my heart. Eddy and Mike on the porch of the rent house making one of numerous trips to load the trucks and cars. The sign out in front of the new house. The beginning of a new era for Jamie and Mike.
Oh Captain! my Captain! our fearful trip is done; The ship has weather'd every rack, the prize we sought is won; The port is near, the bells I hear, the people all exulting, While follow eyes the steady keel, the vessel grim and daring:
I am now a retired teacher, chess coach, quiz bowl coach, tutor, gifted and talented facilitator, dylslexia and disabled learner practioner. My autonomic nervous system is unable to return my blood to my heart and brain.(We use one damn powerful medication to do this all day long!) I am dependent on others for driving mobility, but not for thinking movement. I am in love with my camera lens.
